Pillars & Poetry Tour

Our goal: Build brand affinity and drive engagement with the Allstate brand among the AA community.

Our insight: “I’ve got people in my family and in my community relying on me. Much of my life is dedicated to them, but I see the effort as more of a blessing than a burden. I’m honored to be the one they can count on.”

Our idea: Celebrate the Pillars of Strength in the AA community through the power of spoken word at select Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

The outcome: We created The Allstate Pillars & Poetry Tour hosted by Grammy Award-Winning Spoken Word Artist, J. Ivy. Students were invited to perform their original spoken word pieces around the theme of ‘Pillars of Strength’ in their lives. We awarded cash prizes to students who placed 1st through 3rd at Tuskegee University and Spelman/Morehouse Colleges.
